Mahogany is a new Southeast community in Calgary that prides itself on providing Calgarians with a lakeside lifestyle; in fact, Mahogany contains Calgary’s largest lake!
For those who enjoy relaxing outdoors, the community includes 74 acres of natural wetlands surrounded by 22 kilometres of pathways. Residents can enjoy the lake at two private beach sites, equipped with picnic areas, playgrounds, and sports courts, with washrooms and change rooms on site. On the outer area residents have access to an Urban Village and a Village Market, full of shops, cafes and restaurants. Additionally, the community is close to a hospital and eventually a new LRT line.
Mahogany is divided into 4 collections: Boulevard, Reserve, Lakeland, and Island. The collections include condos, paired homes, town homes, front-attached garage homes and estates, with prices ranging from the $100’s up to the $600’s. There are six builders working in this community, including: Hopewell Residential, Jayman BUILT, Excel Homes, Homes by Avi, Calbridge Homes and Morrison Homes.
Hopewell Residential, Calgary’s Multi-Family Builder of the Year, is building condos, paired homes, laned homes, and front-attached garage homes in Mahogany.
Jayman BUILT is building landed homes, front-attached garage homes, as well as a new community beside Mahogany, Westman Village.
Excel Homes is also involved in the Mahogany development, building front-attached garage homes.
Mahogany’s Lakeside Estate Homes are built by Homes by Avi, Calbridge Homes and Morrison Homes.
While Mahogany’s Island Estates are built by only Calbridge Homes and Morrison Homes.
While Mahogany is farther away from downtown, it’s perfect for people looking for a relaxing, lakeside oasis, and residents won’t need to constantly drive into town since Mahogany is surrounded by two shopping areas, featuring shops, cafes and restaurants. There’s a total of six builders working within the community, giving Calgarians a variety of homes from a variety of builders to choose from, making it perfect for individuals or families.
